Espérance III

This magnificent replica of the Latin Sail boat from the last century, that transported goods on Lake Annecy between 1911 and 1930 is an iconic sight on the lake. Espérance III offers sailing trips (weather permitting) of 2 hours open to everyone, where you can discover or rediscover the beauty of the lake on a historical boat.
During the trip, you can ask the crew any questions about the technical characteristics of this boat and its history.
The trips are by reservation only and depart from Annecy

At your ease or thrills There is something for everyone

Paragliding

The colourful paragliders above Lake Annecy are a sight to behold.
Two classic take-off sites are the Col de la Forclaz and Planfait. You can visit them to see the paragliders take off and enjoy the panorama. At the Col de la Forclaz there are picnic areas and three restaurants with panoramic views from the terraces out over the lake.

Take to the skies by treating yourself to a classic tandem flight, a child's flight or a thrill-seeking flight. Our partner Libre Envol can inform you about it and offers you a preferential rate. Departure and return directly to the campsite.

Canyoning

Sensational abseiling as well as jumps and natural rock formed slides are supervised by experienced professionals from our partner companies Annecy Canyoning and Terreo Canyoning.
For families with young children (from 6 years old) and as a softer introduction to canyoning there is the aqua hike which allows you to gently discover the natural beauty of our region.
For thrill seekers there are more demanding courses for those with more experience.
Departure every Wednesday from the campsite reception area with Annecy Canyoning, sign up with the kids entertainers (in July and August).
With Terreo Canyoning the photos are part of the package, come and scan the QR code at reception.

Treetop adventure course

In Talloires our partner Accro Aventure offers you an unforgettable experience and is an ideal outing for all the family.
The Treetop adventure course involves climbing to the top of trees and walking between them across rope bridges, obstacles and zip lines. There are different courses with several levels of difficulty.
From up there you have a splendid view of the lake and in summer it is an ideal escape from the heat.
Reservations are mandatory and are made via the website. You have a discount as a customer of the campsite, just let them know that you are a guest on arrival.

Stand up paddle (SUP)

Paddleboarding is an activity that consists of rowing upright with a paddle on a large board about 2.5 to 3 meters long.
Paddleboarding is very popular with both locals and holidaymakers alike, allowing you to discover the lake from a more relaxed angle.

You can bring your own paddle or rent them from our partner Skiwake74 (who offer our guests a discount) which is located next to the campsite. Go to reception to scan the QR code.
Skiwake74 also rents kayaks and sailboats.

Rafting

Make some great memories and enjoy exciting new experiences by going with one of the specialists in white water rafting in the region. These rafts, large boats which can accommodate a crew of 7 to 8 people, flow down the river navigating the rapids. The starting point is about 1h30 from the campsite. The Centron gorges and the Doron de Bozel are very popular and will allow you a beautiful descent in complete safety, supervised by an instructor.
Reservations at H2O sports at the Bozel/Brides-les-Bains base.

The boat to Annecy

During the high season there are two boat departures each day to Annecy from the jetty at Doussard port. Tickets can be purchased either on the boat or at the tourist information office opposite the campsite. The boat cruise is a leisurely way to admire the lake, houses and beaches that surround it from a different perspective.

If you leave at 11:10 you will arrive around noon in Annecy. A perfect opportunity to have lunch in one of the small restaurants in the old town or to picnic on the Pâquier, a landscaped promenade of more than 7 hectares on the shores of Lake Annecy.
You have the whole afternoon to discover the castle museum, the Palais de l’île (a historic building dating back centuries that once served as a prison) the canals, the Pont des Amours and to stroll through the narrow streets of this magnificent historic city. It is a dream setting between the colorful buildings and the emerald lake surrounded by mountains.
At 17:15 the boat makes its way back to Doussard.

If you wish to stay longer in the Annecy, you can always take your bikes on the boat (subject to space) and return via the cycle path, or conversely go to town by bike and return by boat. Dogs are allowed on the boat.
